This is not a limited warranty with a bunch of fine print and exclusions. It is a straightforward commitment: the pier systems we install will support your foundation for the life of the structure. If something goes wrong with the system, we make it right.
What Is and Is Not Covered

Ram Jack® pier systems are backed by a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty from Ram Jack. This covers the pier products themselves, including defects in materials and manufacturing. The warranty stays with the property, not the owner, so it transfers automatically if you sell your home.
Our installation workmanship is warranted by Ossum Concrete Lifters for 20 years. This covers the quality of the installation itself, ensuring the work was performed to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Transferability is included on both warranties at no additional cost. If you sell your home, the new owner inherits the same protection.
✗ What Is Not Covered
We believe in being upfront about the boundaries of any warranty. The Ram Jack® warranty does not cover:
Cosmetic repairs such as drywall cracks, paint, or interior finishes. The structural repair stabilizes and lifts the foundation, but cosmetic touch-ups are the homeowner’s responsibility.
Pre-existing conditions that were present before the repair and were not part of the original scope of work. Our written proposal clearly defines the areas being addressed.
Damage caused by external events such as earthquakes, floods, or third-party construction activity that affects the soil around the foundation. Coverage for these events depends on your home insurance policy. Our guide to foundation damage insurance explains what BC policies usually cover.
Normal soil behaviour around the pier system. The piers are anchored to stable soil at depth and are not affected by surface conditions, but the surrounding landscape, drainage, and grading are the homeowner’s responsibility to maintain.

The Ram Jack® manufacturer's warranty is a lifetime warranty on the pier products themselves, covering defects in materials and manufacturing. The Ossum installation warranty is a 20-year warranty on our workmanship, covering the quality of the installation. Together, they protect both the product and the labour.
Contact us and we will provide the necessary documentation for the transfer. There is no fee to transfer either warranty to the new property owner. Both the manufacturer's warranty and our installation warranty stay with the property.
Once the piers are seated on stable bearing soil, they are designed to permanently support the foundation at that level. If a pier product fails to perform, Ram Jack's lifetime warranty applies. If an installation issue arises within 20 years, our workmanship warranty applies.
Both warranties cover the specific piers and areas addressed in your project. If a different section of the foundation develops issues later, we would assess it as a separate project with its own scope and warranty coverage.
There is no required maintenance on the pier systems. However, we recommend maintaining proper drainage and grading around your foundation, as these contribute to overall foundation health and help prevent issues unrelated to the pier systems.
