Careers at Ossum Concrete Lifters

We are not always hiring, but we are always interested in meeting skilled, reliable people who care about doing quality work.

Work That Matters

Foundation repair is specialized work. It takes technical skill, problem-solving ability, and the kind of attention to detail that comes from people who take pride in what they do. If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.

We are a small, experienced team that works across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Every crew member plays a significant role in the quality of our work and the experience our clients have. When we do hire, we look for people who are dependable, willing to learn, and committed to doing things right.

Why Work With Us

1

Hands-On, Skilled Work

This is not generic construction labour. Foundation repair involves engineered systems, hydraulic equipment, and precise installation techniques. You will develop a specialized skill set that is in demand across the industry.
2

Training and Development

We invest in our crew. As an authorized Ram Jack® dealer, our team has access to manufacturer training programs, and we provide hands-on mentorship from experienced installers. You will grow your skills on every project.
3

Small Team, Real Impact

You are not a number here. Every person on our crew contributes directly to the quality of the work and the reputation of the company. Your effort matters and is recognized.
4

Professional Environment

We maintain modern equipment, follow proper safety protocols, and keep our job sites clean and organized. We expect professionalism and we provide the environment to match.
5

Competitive Compensation

We offer competitive pay that reflects the skill level this work requires. Compensation grows as your experience and capabilities develop.

Roles We Typically Hire For

We hire people who take their work seriously...

Installation Technician

Our installation technicians are the core of our crew. Your day starts at the job site, where you help prepare the work area, set up equipment, and install Ram Jack® pier systems according to project specifications. You will operate hydraulic equipment, monitor torque readings, handle excavation and backfill, and ensure every installation meets our quality standards. The work is physical, technical, and rewarding; you will see the direct results of your effort at the end of every day.
What we look for
  • Construction or trades experience (foundation repair experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
  • Comfortable with physical outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a small crew
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Willingness to learn and follow technical procedures

Field Representative / Estimator

Our field representatives are the first point of contact for property owners dealing with foundation concerns. You visit properties, assess foundation conditions, take measurements, and explain the problem and recommended solution in clear, honest terms. This role combines technical knowledge with client communication; you need to understand the engineering behind the work and be able to explain it to people who have never dealt with a foundation issue before.
What we look for
  • Experience in construction, foundation repair, or a related technical field
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, trustworthy presence
  • Ability to assess foundation conditions and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule
